The College Board has a stranglehold on college admission. We pretty much write them checks for everything: AP, ACT, SAT, etc.

Yea, it's pretty much a monopoly. Unfortunately, there's not much choice. But you can get a waiver if needed

Like formerIBstudent said, it's basically a monopoly. Our whole college admissions process depends on their scores, but they own it all. They get to charge whatever they want, because we have to pay anyway.
